iMovie won't delete my MP3?
How do I delete mp3 clips from iMovie - My Media? The say they are in use but I have deleted them from the movie timeline.

Possibly the mp3 clip is in use by another project.
You can select the clip and do a File/Reveal in Finder and delete it from the Original Media folder that pops up. That would remove it from the iMovie library. The problem with that is the clip would be deleted from all projects that may be referring to it, thus essentially disabling those projects.
I would leave the clips alone and not delete them. Of course, that’s your call.

Thank You for the File/Reveal Tip! I realized, at the crack of dawn, that the said clips in use might actually be my voice over clips. When I used the File/Reveal it confirmed this.
