Unable to access shows/movies

add shows to Up Next but am unable to access them. I'm told I need to subscribe (I am already subscribed). Any idea how to fix? I have signed out and signed back in.

Verify that you are signed in to the Apple TV app, through the in-app Settings (sprockets wheel icon), using the Apple ID account to which the Apple TV+ subscription is linked.

With the Apple TV app on your smart TV, you can potentially access:

Your Apple TV+ subscription is just for the Apple TV+ content. Other content in the Apple TV app will have to be paid for separately. You can filter for Apple TV+ content by navigating to the tv+ tab.

Up Next is a (just) queue list. It will take any show available, regardless of whether you paid for access to it yet. You have to buy or rent or subscribe to actually view the selected content.
