Unable to access shows/movies
add shows to Up Next but am unable to access them. I'm told I need to subscribe (I am already subscribed). Any idea how to fix? I have signed out and signed back in.

Verify that you are signed in to the Apple TV app, through the in-app Settings (sprockets wheel icon), using the Apple ID account to which the Apple TV+ subscription is linked.
With the Apple TV app on your smart TV, you can potentially access:
Your Apple TV+ subscription is just for the Apple TV+ content. Other content in the Apple TV app will have to be paid for separately. You can filter for Apple TV+ content by navigating to the tv+ tab.
Up Next is a (just) queue list. It will take any show available, regardless of whether you paid for access to it yet. You have to buy or rent or subscribe to actually view the selected content.

Hello Paralynnie,
Could you please verify you're in the Watch Now section of Apple TV? If you're in the Originals (Apple TV / Apple TV+) section of the Apple TV app, it will only show shows and movies on Apple TV+. The Watch Now section will show everything.
Could you please try restarting both your Apple TV and iPhone? For Apple TV, you can find this:
Strange.. Can you try adding a show/movie to your Up Next and go to Watch Now (I know it may not be there). If it isn't, can you try reopening the same show/movie and verify the Up Next button is still a check mark? If it's a check mark it should be in your Up Next, if it's a plus sign you have a syncing issue.
Watch Now in the Apple TV app - Apple Support
Thanks. I think I figured it out. The movies in my Up Next (they show up, by the way, I just couldn't stream them), are likely part of a limited offer for subscribers. I didn't watch them soon enough and the limited offer has expired.
Yes, I am in Watch Now. Thanks.
It is a checl mark. Some things I add to warch next work fine. Othwers do not. Typically the movies are the problem.
I have restarted the Apple app on my Samsung tv. Alas, I do not have an iPhone. The restart did not help.
I'm sorry I don't know what else could be causing it😥 I can try to do some research, but if it shows the check mark, I don't know why it wouldn't be in the Up Next queue.
