Log in programs wont stay removed

on my mac air, ventura, i have to keep deleting at login/startup One Drive. It's a pain. How can i delete it permanently

I wish to remove one of them, but if try to select it (or any other) the selection does not remain, simply the app I select flashes once and is not selected, so I cannot use '-' to remove it. Deleted items appearing in System Settings... In System Settings > General > Login Items I'm seeing programs that were deleted under Allow In The Background. Things related to my old WD NAS drive, GoToMeeting, LogMeIn, McAfee, Team Viewer. All programs have been deleted so I don't see them under Applications in Finder. Switched them all off so that they are not running in the background but would like to get rid of them. Have a macbook pro 15 inch 2018 running Ventura Thanks

How do I remove Kromtech Alliance from MacBook Air login items? Got this message on my MacBook Air today: Background Items Added Software from "Kromtech Alliance Corp." added items that can run in the background. You can manage this in Login Items Settings. Well, in Setttings->Login Items is Kromtech Alliance but under 'Allow in Background' and is not "enabled" (the toggle is off. There is no way or manner to select this and delete it. Nothing named Kromtech is in my applications folder. Any help - what is this? How do I get rid of it? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Generally:

Within the app, look for a "Start at Login" or some such words and deselect it.
System Settings > General > Login Items and deselect/remove OneDrive

I use app Autostarter to launch certain apps at startup. Might you have a similar app?
