photos are missing from iCloud.

I deleted 8000 photos from my iPhone but they were on my desktop before I deleted them. All but 199 are gone. How can I retrieve the photos?

If you didn’t empty the bin, go to icloud.com, open Photos and go to ‘Recently deleted’. Deleted items stay there for 30 days, unless you also removed them from ‘Recently deleted items’
