Do I need to set travel notifications for the Apple Card when traveling outside the U.S., and if so, how?

No, Goldman Sachs does not need advance notification of foreign travel. The process for approving charges is automated and in fact their support specialists do not have a way to enter the information on their terminal.

On a personal note, do not make your first purchase a large amount. My wife did this on a trip to Paris for a hotel and the charge was declined. She received a message on her iPhone asking if the charge was hers and she replied that it was and she ran the charge again and it went through.
