After completion of call, the call screen goes off quickly resulting in a unintended touch

Let's say I go to a recent call list and choose an item to make a call. When the call gets completed, it could be because of two reasons - One I was the first to disconnect the call or the party on the other side.

Normally after conversion ends, One tend to click the 'red button' to end the call, however, some cases the other party would have also disconnected the call concurrently, which resulted in my 'call screen' dismissed the UI resulted back to the 'recent call list'. Now my touch to the end-call results in selection of some item in the recent list and a call with start.

Many a time, due to this unintended call, the person calls back again to check. which results in a significant waste of time and inconvenience to all.

This is very irritating experience. Apple, can it be thought with some intuitive way to solve this? i.e. for e.g. If the other person disconnects the call, same shows in the 'call screen' can remain for few seconds with say 'grey out' of end-call button, so these unintended calls can be avoided.
