will the 3rd generation airpods work with iphone 6s
iPhone 6s, iOS 15
Seems the AirPods world really need to be paired with the latest iOS version, (ie: necessary for the automatic AirPods firmware updates) yet iOS 16.5 is not compatible with iPhone 6s.
Apple support's article: AirPods (3rd generation) - Technical Specifications
says:
"AirPods can be used as Bluetooth headphones with Apple devices using earlier software and with non-Apple devices, but functionality is limited."
