CarPlay Crashes on 2021 Mitsubishi Mirage

My CarPlay consistently crashes after I have made more than 2 phone calls. After that, the only way to make CarPlay operational again is to shut off the car and restarting it. I have followed all the instructions from Apple’s CarPlay troubleshooting list, but it made no difference. Latest iOS, new cable, reconnecting my iPhone XR while car was still on - none of it makes a difference. I have read about consistent CarPlay crashes with Mitsubishi Mirages all over the Mitsubishi user forum. Has Apple come up with a working solution?
