Once the device is handed to the shipper, Apple has no control over it. You need to contact the shipper for an explanation.

If the shipper has the device, only he can give details. Shippers do not back feed internal operational matters to Apple. Once the shipper accepts responsibility, it's his responsibility to deal with delays and such and to keep the target owner informed.

Hello you have to call Apple/Apple Care to have more infos. Sometimes it can take a little bit longer than normal.
