Apple ID Verification

My iPhone 12 keeps asking me to verify my Apple ID. My iPhone needed a new battery. When the iPhone was returned, it had an old email ID for subscriptions and purchases for media. I got that fixed, but now I must enter my Apple ID constantly. Any suggestions?

The bit about the "old email ID" is concerning. When you rectified this did you create a brand new account, or did you simply update the email address on the old account? If you created a new ID then all your purchased apps will need to be deleted and redownloaded with the new account. Either than or see if you can go back to the old account and change the email address on that which is what should have been done.

Here's how you change the email address you use for your Apple ID:

1. Go to https://appleid.apple.com and sign in.

2. In the Sign-In and Security section, choose Apple ID.

3. Enter the email address that you want to use as your Apple ID.

4. Choose Change Apple ID.

5. If you changed your Apple ID to a third-party email address, check your email for a verification code, then enter the code. Learn what to do if you didn't get the email. --> If you didn't receive your verification or reset email - Apple Support

6. If you use services like iCloud or Messages to share with friends and colleagues, sign in to those services with your updated Apple ID. --> What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support

The third alternative is to set up Family Sharing between the old and new accounts. To learn how to set up Family Sharing, read this support article --> Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support

Thank you so much. That did fix the problem. I logged out of the old email address and logged back in with the current email. That brought up all my current subscriptions and media -- but mainly it is no longer asking me to log in again. That old email address was still showing under the Media & Purchases area. Appreciate you taking the time to provide a great helpful reply.
