Hello! My daughter wants to download an app that’s older than her ID age - I’ve looked into the app and I’m happy for her to have it…… but I cannot work out how to get her iPad to allow her to download - I’ve check from bother her side and mine. Is there a way to do it or will she just have to walk till she older?

There is not much you can do. The developer of the app is the one that sets the age restrictions based on the content their app contains. This is the type of content that will require the 12+ rating:

From what others have said in similar situations she will have to wait.

The person that manages your Family Sharing plan can restrict you from downloading all apps.
