I have an Epson V600 scanner. How to update.
Has anyone contacted Epson about the 64 bit requirement for OS Ventura?

You are entirely dependent on Epson providing you functional drivers. Without these, VueScan Professional will not work and Image Capture may or may not work. Test.
You will find the following:
at Epson Perfection V600 Photo.
The ICA scanner driver is support for Apple's Image Capture application and that ICA driver dates back to an early Ventura release. I would skip the offer of Silverfast SE and once you have the scanner working with Image Capture, then VueScan Professional could be an optional and stronger scanning software choice. There is a free trial.

If not, maybe a solution here? VueScan
For our Epson scanners, a visit to the Epson site was required to get latest driver and software. There was no "check for updates" in the installed scanner software.
Connect the scanner to the iMac, open the Image Capture app. and see if it recognizes the scanner.
I have the same issue. So am I correct in understanding we should only download the ICA Scanner driver and use Image Capture and Vuescan and not use Epson Proprietary software?
