iPhone issue about hdmi connection to tv

Normally I could stream content from my iPhone (Zoom, Teams) to a monitor or tv via a lightning link adapter using an hdmi cable.

after software upgrades to my iPhone 7 Plus, (15.07) the same connection fails to allow the connection to operate. My wife with an 11 has the same problem via 4 different recognised brands of tv.

How can I connect using cable?

Has there been a patch or debugger available please?

cheers

iPad, iOS 10

Greetings iPhonesoftwaredeniesvideo,

If you are trying to connect your iPhone to a display with a cable, start by confirming that you're taking these steps:

  1. "Plug a Lightning Digital AV Adapter or Lightning to VGA Adapter into the charging port on the bottom of iPhone.
  2. Connect an HDMI or VGA cable to the adapter.
  3. Connect the other end of the HDMI or VGA cable to the monitor, TV, or projector.
  4. If necessary, switch to the correct video source on the monitor, TV, or projector. If you need help, use the display’s manual." Connect iPhone to a display with a cable - Apple Support

If the issue continues, make sure to update your iOS and test to see if the issue continues. Updating can often help resolve unexpected behaviors. Update your iPhone or iPad

We hope this helps!

Sincerely.
