iphones can’t charge in any vehicle

2 weeks ago my iPhone 11 Pro Max suddenly stopped charging in the car. I use the cigarette lighter. I have changed cords, apple and cheapo, changed the plug-in piece. Thought it was just my car. But now I can’t plug in and charge in the cig port of any vehicle. Again swapped and changed cords and pieces, still nothing. Tried my dads 11 pro max and his now no longer charges in any of the cars either. Neither of us have ran an update on the phone since this started happening. Both phones charge just fine in the house with the same cords.
