WD MY Passport for Mac not mounting after 13.4. 1 update

I've had this happen to me in the past with Western Digital products and wondering whether there is a fix.

My WD My Passport for Mac won't mount onto the desktop and I cannot back up my data. The external hard drive hasn't been able to mount since an update last week. When I updated the macOS a (13.4.1) a few days ago I thought this would solve the problem. It hasn't.

I have used Disk Utility and ran a check, but that hasn't worked. I have used the WD Drive Utilities and ran diagnostics that has failed to mount the HD as well. Any ideas?
