Cannot move file - Getting this error message: "same name as another item on destination volume"

I am getting this error when moving a file. I tried changing the name to something else, but it doesn't work.

You can’t copy “brandon new.fcpbundle” because it has the same name as another item on the destination volume, and that volume doesn’t distinguish between upper- and lowercase letters in filenames.

How do I solve this please?

Should have mentioned in the original message. I have already tried renaming the file many times.

Here is the exact error message:

You can’t copy “brandon new1.fcpbundle” because it has the same name as another item on the destination volume, and that volume doesn’t distinguish between upper- and lowercase letters in filenames.

It's on an external drive, and I'm trying to move it to another external drive.

I contacted Apple Support this morning and they advised me to put the computer in safe mode. Which I did. Then the password wouldn't work. Then I had to literally uninstall and reinstall Ventura and restore everything from time machine. It was a laborious process, but now that's all done, I'm still here.

The fcp file won't move between 2 externals via my macbook pro.
