Having shut-down the iPad, place it someplace warm and dry (i.e., low humidity) for a number of hours - perhaps overnight - before attempting to use the iPad.
Yes….that worked great! I had turned it off immediately yesterday…and then this morning had a hair dryer on cool temp blowing into the port for awhile….after about 48 hrs….my iPad began charging again. Thank you for the quick response time and I was happy to know I was following the correct protocol.
