Is it safe to charge my iPhone while Low Power Mode is active?

I just got my first iPhone, and I absolutely love it so I truly want to care of it and extend its life as long as possible.

Someone has told me that charging my iPhone while Low Power Mode is active could negatively impact my battery life.

Is this correct?

Also, is it true that it’s bad to leave my phone charging beyond 80%? Or is this yet another rumour…
