Apple Pay and location
Why does Apple Pay map your location of purchase from a store? Location services is not always on. Can this be turned off?

So, that the physical transaction can be mapped to a location. Location services can be disabled, but this may disable services that many other apps and/or service use. This provides an additional layer of security and the convenience of seeing the exact location your transaction was made, if you use an Apple Card MasterCard. I’ve include an example below of what I see when I use my Apple Card.
