Keep getting pop up for Microsoft SharePoint wants to use your confidential information stored in "adalcache" in your keychain

This was asked Nov 2022 by Sharyn_1977. The solution posted did not work for me (delete keychain) as adalcache contains all the login info for my Windows365 apps. Also delete keychain was greyed out so I couldn't even recklessly try it. There is no Sharepoint keychain or Sharepoint install on my MacBook. I last logged into a corporate SharePoint server from my (previous) MacBook in 2018. Help please - I cannot make the popup go away.

If you're unable to edit or delete a keychain, make sure your system is up to date: Update macOS on Mac

Then contact Apple to report the issue: Get Support
