How do you know if you have photo stream

Open Photos on your Mac and look at the Photos > Preferences on the iCloud Tab.

If you are seeing an option for My Photo Stream, check, if it is enabled. If there is no option or it is not enabled, you have not been using My Photo Stream and there is nothing to save from it.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, check the Settings > iCloud > Photos, if there is a My Photo Stream option and it is enabled.

Only users with an older AppleID could have been using My Photo Stream at all.
