I cannot print to my HP printers, I have reset the printing system, downloaded latest HP drivers and HP Smart app. done this multiple times, printers print test print from their own controls so they are working. When I try to print from macbook Printer works fine from Windows laptop but it comes back with the same message "waiting for printer to become available". on the verge of buying a windows laptop.

Thank you for the information.

First of all, the HP OfficeJet 7110 Wide Format ePrinter is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support (en-us edition May 08, 2023). This means that the model in question supports Apple's AirPrint technology. The printer should work without additional drivers for macOS, provided that it is connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router) as the Mac. Have you tried a network connection for this printer?

AirPrint works with wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet) network connections. The HP OfficeJet 7110 Wide Format ePrinter has Ethernet, so you have a choice between wiring the printer to one of the LAN ports of a router and connecting wirelessly.

The HP Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One Printer - L511a (a USB printer) is not an AirPrint model. The HP support page indicates driver support up to macOS 10.15 Catalina only. Sometimes, a Catalina driver works with some later operating system versions, but that would be experimental.

Having trouble printing from your MacBook to your HP printers can be frustrating. Here are a few suggestions you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Check connectivity: Ensure that your MacBook and HP printers are connected to the same network. Verify that both devices have a stable network connection.

2. Restart all devices: Restart your MacBook, HP printers, and the wireless router. This can help refresh the network connections and resolve any temporary glitches.

3. Update macOS: Make sure your MacBook is running the latest version of macOS. Keeping your operating system up to date can help resolve compatibility issues with printers.

4. Reset printing system (again): Although you mentioned that you have already reset the printing system, it's worth trying again. Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, right-click (or Control-click) on the printer list, and select "Reset printing system." Note that this will remove all printers from your list, so you'll need to re-add them afterward.

5. Remove and re-add printers: Delete the existing HP printers from the printer list on your MacBook and re-add them. To do this, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select the HP printer from the list, and click the "-" button to remove it. Then click the "+" button to add it back, and follow the prompts to set it up.

6. Disable firewall and security software: Temporarily disable any firewall or security software on your MacBook. Sometimes, these programs can interfere with the communication between the MacBook and the printers. Remember to re-enable them once you've tested printing.

7. Try a different user account: Create a new user account on your MacBook and see if you can print from that account. If printing works in the new user account, it suggests that the issue may be specific to your user account settings. In that case, you can try troubleshooting your user account preferences or consider migrating to a new user account.

8. Contact HP Support: If none of the above solutions work, it's advisable to reach out to HP Support for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting steps and guidance based on your printer models and the macOS version you're using.
