How can I purchase more memory for a new 15-inch MacBook Air I bought this weekend? I have 8GB and I need 16 or 24GB for school.

You can not upgrade the Unified Memory in a MacBook Air.

The 16GB and 24GB upgrades are custom order options.

Apple has a 14 day return policy. Return in and purchase a model with more RAM. The RAM is factory soldered and cannot be upgraded.

You can not. There is no recent Mac that can have RAM added after purchase.

Hi, I just got my new 15 inch Air, and I got the 24GB Ram model. Apple doesn't enable customers to upgrade ram or hard drives on newer models like they did with the 2008-2011 Macs.
