M1 MacBook Pro audio too harsh! SOLVED

So back in 2016 I purchased my first MacBook Pro 15. I remembered it being a rocky start but quickly getting the hang of it. The sound was so clean AND leveled and I was truly happy with my purchase. I could load any unmix/mixed drum loop into ableton and push it without sounding harsh at all! Sometimes to the point of complete distortion in stereo or mono. Growing up like a kid in a candy shop I quickly snapped out of my amateur ways and started to take things a little more seriously by picking up a 2016 RME Babyface pro. Over the years I taught myself how to mix and master and it was a real delight. I would producer for hours upon hours with very little ear fatigue but like all good things, they came to an end around 2020 when my 2015 MacBook performance started to decline. I decided then, to upgrade to an M1 model the very next year. And man, where do I start! Right off the bat I notice a huge change in audio quality. It drove me mad! Everything sounded like pure crab. I thought it was ground noise, maybe a noisy outlet or my headphone/speakers were just compromised. I did a trial and error on every possible issue and to my surprise finally found a solution. It was nasty work! But Before I share my solution I would like to point out that this is not an ideal solution and I have contacted apple about this and they pretty much told me good luck you’re the first person to have this issue which is completely false. I’ve read numerous threads on here and Reddit were other music producers and audio engineers are having similar issues with pops, clicks crackles you name it! This is an issue with apples software. They want to force us into the spatial audio realm… you see the only solution that solved my harness issue was using Dolby renderer to mix and master in spatial audio to revert the core audio system back to true stereo 2.0! This is a huge inconvenience! Mind you, this ONLY solved the harshness because ableton only supports stereo. With multichannel support being limited. The cpu spikes in ableton are still more present than EVER, too. My question now to apple and everyone in this community: Why won’t apple give us the option to revert core audio back to the legacy intel stereo format??? Spatial audio is cool but it’s still not widely accepted and it’s not a club/radio friendly format because mono is still the gold standard and it will be for a while! APPLE PLEASE GIVE US THE OPTION TO CHANGE OUR CORE AUDIO TO TRUE STEREO. PLEASE!
