Stop HomePod from connecting to guest network?

I have one router that runs just one network with a guest network.  My HomePod loves that guest network. While my other  devices default to connecting to the main network, the HomePod will always latch to the guest network. The only way I’ve been able to remedy this is to disable the guest network in the router’s settings, restart the HomePod, wait for the HomePod to connect to the main network, and then reenable the guest network. Invariably, after a couple of days, the HomePod—and only the HomePod—finds its way back to the guest network.

Any ideas?

Remove the credentials for the guest network from your iPhone or iPad that you set up the HomePod with. These credentials flow through iCloud Keychain. If the HomePod doesn't know about the guest network then it shouldn't connect to it.
