My new MacBook Air is asking for my password but I forget it since I always used the touch feature

I just got my new Mac Book Air and was using the touch feature to login in and now it wants my login psd, we’ll I tried and not working so I must have forgotten something in it. How do I use the touch feature again without pswd?

The touch feature is not designed to completely replace password entry. There are times you will be told to enter the PW in a message adjacent to the password block.
