Sharing Music Library

I have all of the family music on my Mac. My husband and I have family sharing. How do I share the music library with him?

Hello wavy49,

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not aware of a way to share the entire Library.. You can however share Playlists!

On iPhone:

Open Music
Tap Library
Tap Playlists
Tap one of your playlists
Tap More (three dots in the upper right)
Tap Share Playlist
Choose your desired method for sharing.

On macOS:

Open Music
Right-click your Playlist
Tap Share.

The updates coming this Fall (iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma), will allow you to collaborate on playlists with friends and family! I thought I'd mention this as not to many people know this and it wasn't announced at WWDC23.
