Adding Microphone to Applications

I want to add Microphone capabilities to several apps on my MacBookAir. But when I go to Settings, Privacy and Security, then Microphone, I am instructed to select the apps which I want to be microphone capable, but I have no list. How do I establish an app list?

Seems the apps are automatically added to the Microphone list when they ask / request access to the microphone.

In a Safari window you can try going to Safari > Preferences or Settings > Websites > Microphone

and there you can choose "ask" "allow" or "deny" access to the microphone, (or remove unwanted sites).
