AMDRadeonAccelerator driver returns false

My MacBook Pro 2018 with Ventura or other OS version is freezing a lot, sometimes it reboots straight after the login process and shows the error bellow.

I run offline diagnostics and on a iStore the staff also run the diagnostic and it always says no issues.

Please can some one Help??

Thanks

My MBP 2018 kept freezing and crashing randomly after upgrading to Ventura. It went on for many frustrating months. Eventually, I try reinstalling Ventura and that seems to help. I tried the following and hope it helps you too:

  1. Downloaded Ventura 13.6 from App Store.
  2. Disabled Find My Mac.
  3. Disabled FileVault Disk Encryption. I had to use command line, sudo fdesetup disable.
  4. Restarted the the laptop and flushed NVRAM, by pressing the keys Option, Command, P, and R.
  5. When the chime went off the second time in the step above, I logged into Recovery system, by pressing the keys Command and R. In the Recovery system, I selected Reinstall macOS Ventura, and completed the reinstallation.
  6. After the reinstallation, I enabled Find My Mac and FileVault again.

I don't see no "smoking guns" anywhere in your report.

That continues to suggest you have a subtle Hardware flaw.

I suggest you run the User diagnostic, and I fully expect it will not find any faults.

if you go directly to the Genius Bar, they are likely to run the service diagnostic, report no errors there as well, and return your computer to you un-repaired. (They generally do not read panic reports.)

I recommend you contact Apple telephone support, and work with the first-responder through their checklist, which will include restarting in Safe Mode, and may also include re-installing a fresh copy of MacOS.

If their suggestions do not fix the problem, be polite and professional, but ASK for a specialist to contact you to interpret the panic reports and additional information you have already posted here. (They can use the stuff you posted, but do NOT accept our conclusions, preferring to use their own more rigorous processes.)

You want to persist until they file a Bug Report on your behalf or DIRECT a Service Provider to repair your device by swapping the mainboard.

Your report does not show a Time Machine backup. If your mainboard is replaced, your Files will NOT be returned to you, so you MUST have copies of your files before submitting your Mac for service.

<<. The only way for my computers to work with this problem is connected to external screens. >>

Wait, what?

When you connect an external display, the graphics subsystem switches to Discrete-graphics-only for all displays. The intel Integrated GPU is left idle.

This could be a very strong clue about where there problem lies. I do not think this is a design issue inherent in this model Mac, but it is certainly possible that there are several users with similar FAILURES.

If connecting an external display makes the issue disappear, that adds weight to the suggestion that the Internal Intel GPU has failed.

Watchdog timers are set when a task kicks off some work that should complete and report back asynchronously, perhaps a long time (milliseconds) later.

That watchdog timer fired because WindowServer failed to check back in after a very long time (looks like 120 seconds -- an eternity.)

That supports the hypothesis that there is a subtle graphics Hardware flaw.

A common troubleshooting method for an ACUTE problem is to Restart in Safe Node, so that most third party add-ons are not loaded.

'Works in safe mode', 'Fails in regular mode' implies "It's something you added."

in this case, that may not turn out to be definitive, so I will suggest a neat step as well. Download and run this little "discovery' Utility, Etrecheck. it fixes NOTHING. it sonly reason the exist is to quickly collect a view of the inside of your Mac, and produce a report that can be shared back to the forums.

You did not post your Mac Model, or your MacOS version, items essential for troubleshooting. Rather than whining about that, I just looked up what of that was captured in your panic report.

Running the latest Darwin kernel implies you are running the latest MacOS, likely 13.4.1 or thereabouts. Now we don't have to nag you to update to a more recent version.
