iPad is stuck on an app.

Hi, so I recently gotten this new iPad as a gift from my school. As I’m trying to set it up it keeps wanting me to log into my school account, the problem with that is if I do then my school district will end up connecting to it have access to the iPad. Anyways, as I’m using it the iPad automatically opened up to an app called “Company Portal” and it wants me to sign in using my Microsoft account I use for school. I can’t switch out the app even when I restart it. And I really don’t want to sign in but I don’t know what to do.

Ensure the school has removed this iPad from their provisioning system, and then factory reset and reload it.
