logic pro x

I have been experiencing some issues with my Logic Pro X for days now. I have a rode nt-1a mic and a Scarlett 2i2 interface. The problem is that when I open it up with everything already connected, all the correct inputs in logic it still only reads my mic very low therefore I can't hear it at all when I'm recording. It is just barely picking up on the mic. I just got a new mic, the same model, just to test it out. It was working perfectly fine the other day.Now, I open it up today to record something new and the same issue keeps occurring. Not sure what the solution is. If you need more context I'd be happy to provide. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
