iPod mini connection

I switched Wi-Fi modems and now I cannot get my iPod mini’s to reset. As per articles I tried everything in Home app. Even unplugged Mimi’s from elec overnight. Now I hold down on mini, all I get is “I’m having trouble connecting to the internet.

iPod Minis are dedicated music players, dating from 2004 and 2005.

They don't have connections to the Internet, just headphone jacks, and 30-pin dock connectors, that with the right adapter cables, support USB and FireWire connections to the computer that manages them.

Are you sure that you're not talking about an iPad Mini?

Hello MidwestMac,

We'd be happy to get you headed in the right direction. To update the Wi-Fi network on your HomePod, simply connect to the new network on your iOS or iPadOS device. "HomePod automatically connects to the same Wi-Fi network as your iOS or iPadOS device." You can learn more here: Change HomePod settings - Apple Support
