Look Up Feature

Does anyone know how to get the "Look Up" function back on iPhone? This used to be really useful for quickly getting the definition of any word that you highlighted. Now whenever I long press to highlight a single word, I only get the options:

Copy/Speak/Spell/Share/Copy URL

The "Look Up" option is no longer there.

Can anyone help?

"Look Up" function has disappeared Hello, I'm using a 13 Mini with iOS 16.2. Recently, the "Look Up" function has disappeared from some apps that used to connect smoothly to dictionaries. Now when I long press to highlight a word, I only get "Copy/Translate/Search Web/Share". It's not a major thing, but I guess I used it more than I realized, because I really miss it.

“Lookup” option missing in contextual menu Hello there! I used to be able to select “Look Up” in contextual menu after selecting a specific words in any websites. By doing so I can look up the meaning of words with the help of my built-in dictionary in my iPhone12. However, that “look up” option somehow went missing in my menu recently and I just failed to find in back after many attempts in different means. Does anyone have any ideas about this issue? If so please let me know as this issue has been bugging me for a long time….thank you in advance!

Rearrange pop-up text menu? When you select text on iPhone, you get a little pop-up menu of options. The first three options depend on whether or not you're in a text entry field. They also seem to vary depending on which app you're in. In Safari, the first three options are: Copy, Find Selection and Look Up. I don't even know what Find Selection and Look Up do. Unfortunately, an option I use a lot, which is Speak Text, has to be scrolled to when the phone is held in portrait mode. Is there a way to edit this menu so that Speak Text appears second in the list, next to Copy?

J86M ~ Apple's iPhone User Guide says: "If your iPhone isn’t working as expected, you can try restarting it by turning it off, then turning it back on. If turning it off and on doesn’t fix the issue, try forcing it to restart.":

Consider waiting for suggestions from other users here before doing this:

Restore your iPhone to factory settings

...But if that doesn't restore Look Up, consult with Apple:

Yes. What version of iOS is your iPhone 13 running?...
