Update it to 16.5.2

If you still get it, check if the Watch has OS10 beta installed

With IS10 Beta installed you have four choices:

  1. Don't use the watch until the Fall when the new iOS and OS are mainstream or
  2. Wait til iOS17 Public beta or
  3. Install iOS17 developer beta on the phone (can't help you in this forum with 2 or 3 but you can register as a developer for free right now) or
  4. Send the Watch to Apple workshop to have OS9 reinstalled. Apple Store Genius Bar cannot help with that

First of all thank you for all your help. I did have iOS17 installed on my phone and that caused me a whole new set of problems, one of which was not being able to deposit or withdraw money from my Apple savings account, so I was forced to uninstall it. Also you're right that the Genius Bar cannot help. However I am sending my watch to the Apple workshop for them to have OS9 reinstalled. Thanks again for taking the time to help me.
