Can't get itunes to see my phone or ipad
i have uninstalled itunes and reinstalled.
I have restarted my phone
i am using a apple supplied with my phone cord.
I have tried other cords
i get the trust message and i trust the computer
i can see my phone in file explorer window.
but Itunes does not see any device.
Recommendations?

Troubleshooting:
Turn your iPhone On and unlock it -> enter the passcode.
Go to Settings -> set Auto-Lock to Never.
Connect your device to your computer using an Apple USB cable & try also another USB cable.
Make sure your Windows PC is up to date.
Update to the latest version of iTunes

Check the Wi-Fi connection.
If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.
Disable all AV & Firewalls temporarily while you connect your iPhone.
Did you restart the Windows PC afterwards?
I have turned off my mcafee. hotspot and vpn. disabled the firewall. still does not connect to my iphone or ipad. Don't have a clue on how to proceed.
