To update your information contact Apple Support by phone. Tell the advisor that you need help with your Apple Limited Warranty or AppleCare plan expiration date.

Here’s what you need when you call:

- Your AppleCare agreement number

- The device serial number

- Your sales receipt

If you did not then the warranty expiration date reflects the date the seller purchased it from an authorized retailer.

If you were told it was “new” return it and get your money back and go buy one from an authorized retailer or directly from Apple.

Bro, first of all, have you bought it from an Apple Store or from a retail store? I would suggest contacting Apple Support and share your proof of purchase to update the warranty. And last but not least, do add an Apple protection plan for mishaps.
