M1 MacBook Air keyboard and touch pad stops working when connected to external monitor.

When I connect may m1 Mac to an external monitor, the laptop's keyboard and touchpad stops working. A bluetooth mouse and keyboard are connected to the external monitor and they work, only the laptop's keyboard and touchpad doesn't work.

If I disconnect the external monitor and restart the laptop, it's keyboard and touchpad start work again. This issue started to appear couple of months ago, earlier both laptop's keyboard and the external one were working.
