Hello keazea!


The iPhone may have been water-damaged, which can be unrepairable. Please lean your iPhone against the wall, at a 45° angle, and if possible, aim a fan at it at a low speed, in order to dry the iPhone out, and allow the water to drain out of the ports. Make sure the iPhone is standing charging port downwards, BTW.


After a day or two, try turning it on again. If you can’t turn it on, try these steps. If it still won’t turn on, or if there is weird and unexpected behaviour with your device after turning it on, please take it to a technician for further evaluation: Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple.
