airpods pro not found on bluetooth

i have tried all the corrective attempts to make my airpods pro connect, but they’re not showing up in bluetooth. they’ve been charged to 100%, i have reset them. they are stuck in the pairing mode and will not even show up on my iphone. this started with one airpods not working at all, and i reset the case to get them to pair together again, and they have been broken since. convenient that i’ve had them for a year now. apple won’t repair them under warranty anymore and that is total BS. spending $200 on a product, and they don’t even last a year???? absolutely ridiculous. please help. there is no apple store near me at all.

Hello Megwormo,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

We want to help with getting your AirPods connected to your device.

Let's try the steps below to ensure no step was accidentally missed.

"If you can't connect to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Make sure that your iPhone or iPod touch has the latest version of iOS or that your iPad has the latest version of iPadOS.
  2. Put both AirPods in the charging case and make sure that both AirPods are charging.
  3. To make sure that Bluetooth is on, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  4. If your AirPods are connected, make sure that they're selected as your audio device. If your AirPods appear in the list of devices but they don't connect, go to the next step.
  5. Close the lid, wait 15 seconds, then open the lid. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the charging case for up to 10 seconds. The status light on the front of the charging case should flash white, which means that your AirPods are ready to connect.

AirPods charging cases

6. Hold the charging case, with your AirPods inside and the lid open, next to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

7. Follow the steps on the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

8. Test your AirPods. If you still can't connect, reset your AirPods."

If your AirPods still won't connect click on the resource below and check out the section titled Software Requirements.

thansk for replying, again, i’ve tried all of these steps. they are stuck in pair mode and do not show up in bluetooth at all. my phone is hip to date and fully charged, my airpods are also fully charged, as they were on the charger for the time allotted to obtain a full charge. they still will not connect. why isn’t it a feature to plug them into a PC for diagnostics? i think i know the answer, unfortunately. very dissatisfied with this product as well as the lack of help from apple support. again- im not close to any apple store, nor can i afford to send them in for repairs. they didn’t even last a full year before going out, but because apple support is unavailable to fix these, the warranty has now expired and im stuck with a paper weight that used to be airpods pro. what a sad product y’all made.
