I just upgraded my subscription to do family sharing but when my son tries to use Apple Music it says Cannot Connect

Is your son’s Apple ID listed under Family Sharing? Another thing you can try is restart your son’s iPhone/iPad. Another idea is to make sure both devices are updated to the latest software (iOS/iPadOS 16.5.1).
