Do Not Disturb feature not showing up on other people's imessages

My shared focus status is turned on my iphone, but when I turn on do not disturb, the shared focus status doesn't notify the other person that I have my notifications silenced. How do I fix this issue?

Hello vincento37,

If your Focus status isn't being shared, then we'd recommend taking these related steps to see if they can resolve your issue:

  1. Backup and update both devices (your device and the Apple device of the other person). If needed, see how to update your iPhone here: Update your iPhone or iPad
  2. Ensure both devices have iMessage active using different Apple IDs.
  3. Shared Across Devices is enabled in Settings > Focus.
  4. Shared Focus Status is enabled in Settings > Focus > Shared Focus Status.
  5. That your Focus is enabled in Settings > Focus.
  6. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Focus > Messages is enabled.
  7. Open the Messages conversation, tap the contact at the top of the screen and check to make sure that 'Share Focus Status' is enabled.

If these steps don't resolve your issue, then it would be best to partner with Apple Support: Get Support They'd need to take it from here.

Wishing you well. Take care.
