Hide my email

Just to confirm, are you using the steps in the following resource to create a new address with Hide My Email: Use Hide My Email on Mac - Apple Support

Manually create a new address in iCloud settings

1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click [your name] at the top of the sidebar. If you don’t see your name, click Sign in with your Apple ID to enter your Apple ID or to create one.

2. Click iCloud on the right, then click Hide My Email. (You may need to scroll down.)

3. Do one of the following:

* If you don’t have any active addresses: Click Create New Address. A dialog appears and displays a randomly created iCloud email address. Click Continue.

* If you already have active addresses: Click the Add button  in the lower-left corner. A dialog appears and displays a randomly created iCloud email address.

4. Enter a label for your email and a note to help you remember how you use this email address, then click Continue.

After your address is created, click Copy Address to copy the email address to the Clipboard.

5. When you’re finished, click Done.

If so, what happens when you try to create a new address? For example, do you see any particular alerts or errors? Are you able to create a new address using another Apple device signed into your Apple ID?
