This only happens for my credit card purchase email (mac mail) notifications. I have my CC accounts set up to send me an email every time there is a purchase. It always comes in twice. It is not a mac mail account.

I have two different Credit Card (CC) accounts set up to email me notifications (to a non mac mail account, but properly set up in Mac mail) every time there is a purchase. I always receive the notice twice. Now that I have tried to set up a rule to channel them to a specific mail folder one of the CC account notifications gives me a message that mac mail can't find the designated folder to put it there. The other CC account works find and moves both email notices into the designated folder. So, I have two problems that might be connected. First, I'd like to ONLY receive 1 email notice with each CC purchase. Second, I'd like them both to honor the rule and get moved into the folder I set up for them. Any ideas?

I would begin by checking with your credit card provider's Help people to see why two notifications are being sent out.
