Bluetooth connecting randomly while driving

When I am driving my iPhone 13 is randomly connecting to multiple different devices via Bluetooth which is disrupting my connectivity to my vehicle. Generally it is Amazon Echo devices that I see pop in as connected in my Bluetooth device list as I am driving by. It causes my music to skip or go out from my car where I WANT it to be playing via Bluetooth. How can I stop this from happening without just turning off my Bluetooth since I want that connected to my vehicle?

Hello Camorosi23,

We have a great support article that might help with this. Please take a look at it here: If an app would like to use Bluetooth on your device - Apple Support. This article explains that your device will connect to other devices via Bluetooth if you've already allowed them and given permission. If you'd like to end those connections, follow this guidance:

"Allow or revoke an app's access to Bluetooth

If you see a prompt asking about an app that would like to use Bluetooth, you can tap OK to allow Bluetooth access. If you don’t want the app to use Bluetooth, tap Don’t Allow.

If you later decide that you want to allow or revoke an app's access to Bluetooth, you can update your choice in your device settings:

      1. Go to Settings.
      2. Tap Privacy & Security.
      3. Tap Bluetooth. "

In addition, you can follow this article for help with unpairing from devices you've previously connected to: Set up and use Bluetooth accessories on iPhone - Apple Support.

We hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist with anything else at all. Take care.
