2nd Gen iPhone SE - Dual e-Sim but only one active

Hello,

My 2nd Gen iPhone SE can use dual sims but I want the ability to have two e-sims but not active at the same time. Is this possible or is it only possible with a physical sim and e-sim.

No issue in turning off one e-sim to turn on the other e-sim.

Is it possible to also have an e-sim plan on a dual-sim iPhone? That is if I have a dual-sim iPhone 14, would I still be able to purchase an e-sim plan from an e-sim provider and use it at the same time as the other two? Can i add two e sim but use only one and other as nano in actual 3 sims can I have 2 Esim and 1 nano sim in my phone but use only two sim at a time and off the other 1

I was able to add the second esim and keep one active at a time which is what I needed. Incase anyone has the same question.
