The only thing I found is in settings> click my apple ID>Purchase History which displays everything I've purchased whether a single purchase or subscription and price. But I want to know what the cost is before I buy it. This is crazy!
I went on my laptop and opened the App store and that is a whole different look; there apps have a price tag, some just say "Get" and some have "Get" with "in app purchase" in small print underneath.
I called Apple Care+: she went over it with me and this is what it boils down to; the "Get" is a free app (should say free), there are some that have a straight price tag, but the "Get with In-App Purchase" you can scroll down through all the information and you will find a "In-App Purchase" to tap on and get the price on the upgraded version of the app (meaning you get a free stripped down version downloaded and gives you the option in the app to upgrade to their premium version.
I think the whole "Get"word thing is obscure to being user friendly and intuitive even kind of sounds stupid too. I can see now this was intended to replace "free" apparently to avoid misleading people, when after they download the app they find there maybe a charge associated with a premium version.
I would suggest to apple to labeled them "Download Free", "Download Fee with In-app purchase upgrades" and "Download with price". This is self explanatory and intuitive! Common programmers lets use practical terms that are self explanatory please! I just spent the afternoon over figuring out this "really"!
