Why is there no price listed to any apps before you buy it on the App Store?

I would like to know the price of an app on the App Store before purchasing it but there are no prices. Why?

If the app is a paid app the price is listed on the button. If the app is free, the button says Get.

If the app is installed on your device, the button says Open.

M1 Mac mini, macOS 14.5;  Watch, series 7 GPS/cellular, watchOS 10.5; iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 17.5; TV 4th Gen, tvOS 17.5; HomePods, audioOS 17.5 and Airport Express w/ Airplay 2
