Why Cant I see Prices for App Store?

When I click an app, I only see a download cloud graphic, which I don’t want to click and get a surprise charge. I don’t see a ‘Get’ as people mentioned here, or a price.

Usually price is a key factor in making a decision. Why do they hide the price from app descriptions? It seems rather manipulative and forces me to leave the App Store and go search for pricing elsewhere.

It would be much better to see FREE or PRICE right at the top. Or even better, categorize then by price. Whenever a company hides a price, i wonder why? Not a good way to build trust with a customer.

This is what I see in the iOS App Store;

If the app is free, the button says Get. If it's a paid app, the button has the price. If this is an app that you have previously downloaded in the past, instead of a button, you see the cloud download icon.
