Notify.app - Pop-ups are Never Stopping

Recently updated my Mac to the new operating system and since then have had a pop-up asking if I want the application "Notify.app" to accept incoming network connections or not. I have tried to remedy this error by going into Finder and then application support to find the location of notify, but the folder it is supposed to be housed in "Pharos" is not on my desktop. I followed another forum where you go into system information, and find the application, which tells you where the application is hosted in your finder. I am currently at a dead-end and would appreciate any assistance to stop this incessant pop-up.
